Katseye to drop new EP ‘Wild’ in August

Expect new music from Katseye coming out soon!

The global girl group is set to release a new EP titled “Wild,” coming out on August 14, with pre-orders and pre-saves now open.

In an Instagram video, members Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae said, “They don’t know we’re about to announce our new EP ‘Wild.’” It then cuts to a clip of their Coachella audience.

The announcement drew mixed reactions from fans, who wanted Manon to restart her activities with the group.

“It is OT6 or nothing. You should have waited until Manon's return, or at least provided an official announcement to explain the situation if she has left. This lack of communication is unacceptable. The fans would have gladly waited for her,” a fan said.

“If Manon is out, so am I,” another fan said.

Katseye is fresh from a successful performance at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival last weekend sans Manon, who is still currently on hiatus.

She previously said she is in good communication with record labels Hybe and Geffen.

“HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me,” she said.

Meanwhile, Sophia beamed with Pinoy pride at the festival, where the group performed hit songs “Touch” and “Debut.”
