Hayden Panettiere comes out as bisexual at 36
Hayden Panettiere has come out as bisexual at 36 years old.
The “Bring It On: All or Nothing” actress made the revelation for the first time in an exclusive interview with US Weekly.
Hayden said she first thought about coming out while writing her upcoming memoir, titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning.”
“I’ve chosen to be completely brutally honest about this, and that’s something about me that I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time,” she said.
Hayden also said that she felt “afraid” to come out because she thought people would judge her as “jumping on the bandwagon.”
“Now that I know that this book is coming out, and that I’ve chosen to share it with the world, I’m comfortable saying I’m bisexual,” she said. “I’m comfortable to confidently say that, yes, I am bisexual. I said it!”
Aside from “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” Hayden is best known for her roles in “Heroes,” “Nashville,” “Scream 4,” and “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” among others.
