Black Eyed Peas reunite at AMAs, Apl.de.ap says: 'Mabuhay ang Filipino!'
Black Eyed Peas reunited onstage at the 2026 American Music Awards after winning the Best Throwback Song award for their hit track “Rock That Body.”
The category celebrates timeless songs that continue to resonate with listeners across generations and remain popular years after their release.
During the group’s acceptance speech, Filipino-American singer-rapper Apl.de.ap gave a heartfelt shoutout to fans around the world, especially Filipinos.
“Thank you to all the fans around the world, maraming salamat, mahal ko kayo, mabuhay ang Filipino,” he said.

Meanwhile, Fergie reflected on the group’s reunion and thanked supporters for keeping their music alive through the years.
“I want to thank all of our fans for voting so I can stand up here right now with my longtime friends, brothers, Black Eyed Peas, in honor of this special song,” she said.
“I want to thank everyone who made TikToks and Instagram videos and making this moment possible, so that my son would put our song on his playlist,” she added.
Black Eyed Peas released “Rock That Body in 2010 as part of their album, “The E.N.D.”

The Black Eyed Peas last performed in the Philippines in August 2025. Aside from “Rock That Body” and “Bebot,” they are also famous for the hit songs “I Gotta Feeling,” “Pump It,” and “Where Is the Love?”
