What is Carly Rae Jepsen up to?
On Instagram, the popstar wiped off her feed and began sharing some cryptic posts.
Carly Rae first posted a photo of a bitten apple early Thursday (Manila time).
“White walls, terracotta tiles, a view of the sea…” Carly Rae said in her caption.
“Nice,” she added with the date October 21 at 9:01 a.m.
Quickly, fans filled the comment section, saying how excited they are for the upcoming era.
But 12 hours later, Carly posted a photo of a playing card with a portrait of a man. It had the writing, “Never let a good thing die.”
“I’m patient but your body’s breathing life beside me,” Carly Rae said in her caption with the date Los Angeles, March 8, 11:27 p.m.
Here, fans shared their confusion about the teasers and started thinking that the captions could possibly be lyrics.
Carly’s last full-length release was "The Loveliest Time" in 2023, a companion album to “The Loneliest Time” from 2022.
She also dropped the 10th anniversary edition of her album “Emotion” in 2025, which features four new songs.
Carly was among the headliners of the Wanderland Music Festival in 2023. While in the Philippines, she explored Intramuros and enjoyed some dirty ice cream.
