Taylor Swift makes history as youngest woman inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame
Taylor Swift has officially been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, making history as the youngest woman ever to receive the honor.
According to the Songwriters Hall of Fame website, the pop superstar was recognized for her “key songs,” which include “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version),” “Blank Space,” “Anti-Hero,” “Love Story,” and “The Last Great American Dynasty.”
During her acceptance speech, Swift became emotional as she thanked her family for “uprooting their entire lives” to Nashville to support her music career.
Aside from the “Lover” singer, this year’s inductees include Walter Afanasieff, Alanis Morisette, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
Swift most recently released her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” in October 2022 which included the tracks “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Opalite,” and “The Fate of Ophelia" among others.
Meanwhile, Taylor has been engaged to football star Travis Kelce since August 2025. The couple is reportedly set to marry on June 13 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA News
