Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez to star in animated movie 'Not Alone'

Timothee Chalamet and Selena Gomez are pairing up for the animated movie "Not Alone!"

The upcoming alien story will be produced by Illumination, the studio behind the likes of "Despicable Me" and "Super Mario bros."

According to Variety, Chalamet wiill voice Joe, an introverted rocket mechanic who lives a quiet life alone.

Gomez will voice brilliant astro-botanist who is developing the world’s first-ever plant-fueled rocket.

According to the official synopsis, the pair will meet three aliens, Dunk, Welly, and Shirm, who determine that Fran's rocket could provide their means of getting back home to safety.

"Not Alone" is slated for release on April 16, 2027.

Gomez famously voices Mavis in the "Hotel Transylvania" movies.

Her most iconic TV and film roles include Alex Russo in the Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place" and Mary in "Another Cinderella Story."

Meanwhile, Chalamet is famous for roles like Paul Atreides in the "Dune" movies, Laurie in "Little Women," Elio in "Call Me by Your Name," and Willy Wonka in "Wonka." —JCB, GMA News
