Filipino-Malaysian Yazmin Aziz advances to finals of 'Singer 2026 Malaysia'
Filipino-Malaysian singer Yazmin Aziz has advanced to the finals of "Singer 2026 Malaysia."
During Episode 5 of the singing competition over the weekend, Yazmin delivered a rendition of "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan, earning her a spot in the competition's final round.
On Instagram, Yazmin described her journey on the show as a "dream that once felt impossible."
“Thank you to everyone who’s been cheering me on throughout my Singer 2026 Malaysia journey,” she wrote.
Speaking to GMA News, Yazmin said Filipino singer KZ Tandingan was also highlighted during the semifinal’s episode of "Singer 2026 Malaysia," where she was recognized for her memorable run in the franchise. Yazmin spoke about her kababayan in her interview.
KZ competed as a challenger in "Singer 2018," where she went viral for her powerful rendition of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep."
The grand finale of "Singer 2026 Malaysia" will air at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
