Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce wedding schedule detailed in permit obtained by AP
Taylor Swift and Travice Kelce’s wedding will begin on Friday afternoon (Saturday morning in the Philippines) until early morning of Saturday (Sunday evening in the Philippines), according to a permit obtained by the Associated Press (AP).
AP reported on Friday that the application — for a “Special Event at MSG” — was approved on Wednesday night by New York City’s permitting office, per a spokesperson for Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
According to AP, the permit showed that the venue is reserved for a wedding scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., Friday and will continue until as late as 4 a.m. Saturday.
The permit indicated a full street closure that will take effect starting 12 a.m. on July 3 to allow crews to erect a “drive through tent” next to a separate “entrance tent.”
The permit also showed that a pre-party celebration in the form of a rehearsal dinner for about 100 guests was slated for Thursday evening. In preparation for the event, black SUVs have been seen arriving at a tented area outside Madison Square Gareden as security around the venue has been tightened.
The permit comes after New York Post's Page Six reported on Thursday that Taylor and Travis exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by a small group of loved ones ahead of an expected celebration at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2025.
Taylor and Travis first sparked dating rumors in 2023 when the American pop star was spotted attending several of the NFL star's games. She later confirmed their relationship on TIME, where she said, "We're just proud of each other."
