Ryan Gosling joins Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider

Ryan Gosling is now part of the MCU!

The actor surprised fans at the San Diego Comic Con, where he revealed that he is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Johnny Blaze or Ghost Rider. The character's logo was also revealed.

The upcoming film will be directed by Shawn Levy, who also directed "Deadpool & Wolverine," episodes of "Stranger Things," and "Cheaper by the Dozen," among others.

Ghost Rider was previously portrayed by Nicolas Cage. The character is a motorcycle stuntman who sold his soul and transforms into a skull with a flaming head who fights for justice.

Ryan is known for his roles in "Barbie," "The Notebook," and "La La Land."

"Ghost Rider" is reported to be released in 2028.
