Blackpink’s Lisa to premiere 'Always Lalisa' docu at TIFF 2026

Blackpink member Lisa has an upcoming documentary, “Always Lalisa,” and it is set to make its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Sony Music announced that the film will debut as part of the festival's Gala program.

According to its synopsis, “Always Lalisa” follows “a pivotal year” in Lisa’s life as she spends a year away from Blackpink for the first time since childhood.

“With the clock ticking before her return to the group, LISA confronts the fear and pressure of launching a solo career, pursuing acting, and building a brand, while yearning to maintain a personal life beyond the spotlight,” Sony Music wrote.

Lisa made her solo debut in 2021 with “Lalisa.”

She also launched her own management company, Lloud, in 2024.

In May, Lisa, Anitta, and Rema released “Goals” as part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album.

TIFF is set to take place from Sept. 10-20, 2026. — Carby Basina/LA, GMA News
