NCAA: Letran goes 2-0 in rout of San Sebastian

Colegio de San Juan de Letran picked up its second consecutive win with a 99-62 rout of San Sebastian College-Recoletos in NCAA Season 102 on Friday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

After taking a 24-15 lead in the opening period, the Knights continued to pull away, limiting the Golden Stags to 12 points in the second quarter to take a 49-27 advantage at halftime.

Letran then continued to pile on the points in the second half, with its lead ballooning to as many as 39 points before JC Ynot's free throws trimmed the deficit for San Sebastian.

Denzil Walker led the Knights with 25 points, three rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal, while Chad Gammad added 19 points.

Titing Manalili also chipped in 14 points, nine assists, and five steals for Letran.

Khit Barroga led the Golden Stags with 15 points, three rebounds, and one steal as San Sebastian fell to 0-2.
