Kai Sotto returns to Japan B.League, signs with Altiri Chiba

Kai Sotto is back in Japan after signing with Altiri Chiba.

The club announced the signing on Thursday.

“I’m looking forward to joining Altiri Chiba. I’m very excited to meet the team, Coach Andrej Lemanis, the staff, my teammates, and the fans,” Sotto said in a statement.

“I’ll do everything I can to help this team win and achieve great things this season.”

Altiri Chiba finished last season with a 19-41 record.

This will be Sotto’s fourth club in Japan after stints with the Hiroshima Dragonflies, a loan spell with Yokohama, and the Koshigaya Alphas.

Sotto also recently returned to Gilas Pilipinas after recovering from an injury he sustained early last year.
