TNT welcomes back Rondae Hollis-Jefferson ahead of PBA Govs Cup playoffs
After three switches, TNT is finally activating its resident import in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
The Tropang 5G announced Hollis-Jefferson’s comeback on Monday and said he is ready to suit up when the club takes on Macau on Tuesday in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Hollis-Jefferson is returning after sustaining an achilles tear during his stint with Meralco in the EASL in December 2025.
“After recovering from injury, RHJ is ready to rejoin TNT Tropang 5G, bringing back his leadership, versatility, and competitive drive as the team continues its campaign in the PBA Governors’ Cup,” the team said.
“With RHJ back on the floor, TNT looks build on its collective effort and carry renewed energy into the next stretch of the conference.”
TNT has had three imports this conference. The club first fielded Darius Days before bringing in Rondae’s brother, Rahlir. They then changed imports anew and tapped Nick Hornsby, who suited up for just two games.
With RHJ back, the defending champions got a major boost as they look to punch a quarterfinals ticket and continue their title defense bid.
TNT is coming off back-to-back blowout wins against Terrafirma and San Miguel and currently sports 6-4 in Group A.
