Coach: Ali Peek back at practice 2 months after being shot

Nearly two months after being shot outside a gymnasium in Mandaluyong City, professional basketball player Albert Henry "Ali" Peek has returned to practice.   Vincent "Chot" Reyes, Peek's coach at the Talk 'N' Text team in the Philippine Basketball Association, tweeted that Peek started practicing on Monday.   "Guess who started practicing today? Barely two months after being shot in the neck. God is good. And [assistant] coach [Josh Reyes] needs help!" Reyes said in a post on his Twitter account.   An unidentified man shot Peek outside a gym in Mandaluyong City last Nov. 7. Police said robbery may be the motive and that the suspect had at least one accomplice.   In late November, Peek tweeted that he has "fully recovered" and "got clearance from the doctor."   But Reyes did not say if Peek, who plays forward and center, will play in Talk 'N' Text's PBA semifinal game against the Petron Blaze Boosters on Jan. 5 at the Cuneta Astrodome. - KBK, GMA News
