Ryan Reyes drained consecutive three-point daggers to lift Talk 'N Text to a 113-106 overtime win over a hard fighting Barako Bull in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Friday night at the Astrodome in Pasay City.

The 6-foot-2 guard made the first of that back-breaking 6-0 swing deep in the right corner as he completed a Kelly Williams steal that broke a tight 106-106 contest with 69 seconds left in the extra period.   Reyes, a minute later and following a Barako Bull miss, came through with another basket from beyond the arc that gave the defending champion a 112-106 edge time down to 20 seconds.   The win was the Tropang Texters' fourth in five games to remain on top of stay on top of the standings.   Willie Miller sank a long three-pointer, on top of the key, to send the game into extra play, 102-102.   "Ryan didn't play the first two games of the conference, but tonight, he came out big for us," said coach Chot Reyes of his veteran guard.   The Tropang Texters, coming off an 89-78 defeat to the Air21 Express the last time, played without key players Jayson Castro and Ali Peek. Castro tried in vain to play out a swollen ankle he twisted during that loss to the Express, while Peek sprained his right hand during the team's practice Thursday.   Jimmy Alapag and import Donnel Harvey, with Castro and Peek out, carried most of the scoring load for the Texters as they finished with 27 and 26 points, respectively.   Harvey also grabbed 22 rebounds, while Ranidel de Ocampo added 17 markers and 14 rebounds.   The reigning champions led by 60-44 early in the third period, but behind the brilliance of two-time Most Valuable Player Willie Miller's and import Rodney White, the Energy clawed their way back and made it a two-point ball game, 76-74, entering the final quarter.   Alapag's four straight in the final minute of regulation still had the Tropang Texters on top by three, before Miller sent the game into extra minutes by draining a long three-pointer on top of the key, 102-102.   Kelly Williams, with Talk 'N Text left with no time outs, tried a desperation three-point attempt at mid-court that failed to hit the mark at the buzzer.   Despite White's 42-point production, Barako fell to 2-4 and are on the brink of elimination in the import-spiced tournament where only six teams advance to the quarterfinals. — JVP, GMA News
