PBA: Praises all around for Alaska head coach Trillo

Alaska head coach Luigi Trillo received compliments from all around for leading the Alaska Aces to a semifinals finish against the Talk n' Text Tropang Texters. The former UAAP and PBA D-League mentor forced the number one team in the league to six games, winning the second and fourth matches, before posting back-to-back losses. The Aces missed an opportunity in game five after a costly turnover from Calvin Abueva. In game six, Alaska had to battle the veteran smarts of Talk n' Text, led by former league MVP Jimmy Alapag, who hit timely treys to stave off Abueva and company. Still, it was a huge improvement for Alaska, which produced just 10 wins across three conferences last season, the team's first following the exit of legendary head coach Tim Cone. - RAF, GMA News
