The Indonesia Warriors' quest for back-to-back titles in the Asean Basketball League got off to a bad start, with the team announcing Monday that Fil-Am point guard Stanley Pringle will be out for 12 weeks, due to surgery to his meniscus.
Pringle last season averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists, as the Warriors bested the San Miguel Beermen in three games to become last season's ABL champs.
Without him, the team will likely lean more on former Adamson Falcon Jerick Canada, and hotshot Mario Wuysang to provide stability in the backcourt.
The Warriors begin their season with a 2012 Finals rematch against the Beermen, Friday at Mahaka Square, Jakarta, Indonesia. - AMD, GMA News
