Younger, faster, stronger?

During the 2012 PBA Commissioner's Cup, the then-Barako Bull Energy team managed to shrug off going through a tournament-high four imports, to make it into the playoffs.

Their rugged, veteran line-up managed to trounce the Alaska Aces in three games in the quarterfinals, before coming just short against the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in the semis, losing in five games.

Along the way, they adopted the monicker "Manong Brigade," but unfortunately, they couldn't sustain their success in the Governors' Cup and the 2012-13 Philippine Cup.

The question is, are they still the "Manong Brigade" of the past?
