Undeterred by their heartbreaking game one loss, the Golden State Warriors accomplished what they set out to do, steal a game on San Antonio's home court.
The Warriors shrugged off a late rally try by the San Antonio Spurs, with Stephen Curry scoring his side's last five points, for a 100-91 victory, and more importantly, a 1-1 series tie, Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time) at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The Spurs had previously won game one by the skin of their teeth, needing a Manu Ginobili triple with 1.2 seconds left in double overtime to eke out a 129-127 victory, Monday (Tuesday, PHL time).
The Warriors won at San Antonio for the 1st time in 31 games there. Last win there was February 14, 1997.

It was the first Warriors win in San Antonio since 1997, after enduring a 0-30 shutout, all over the span of Tim Duncan's career with San Antonio.
The first quarter saw the home team use their size down low, getting offensive rebounds and turning them into nine second-chance points. Golden State however got a 4-of-5 clip from downtown by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to keep them ahead, 28-23.
The Warriors continued to wax hot in the second canto, with Klay Thompson standing out against the Spurs defense. Five markers from him gave Golden State a double-digit lead, 44-31, 7:47 left before halftime. San Antonio hit back with seven unanswered of their own, but a pair of treys from Thompson put them ahead by 13, 52-39, and a 10-0 Warriors blast, capped off by another two triples from the sophomore gunner, made it a 62-43 advantage for the visitors at the break.
Klay Thompson was superb in the game's first 24 minutes, scoring 29 on 11-of-18 shooting, 7-of-8 from downtown. The Spurs on the other hand missed all seven of their triples, and needed big production from Tim Duncan (17 points) and Tony Parker (13 points) to stay in the mix.
Scores by Harrison Barnes and Carl Landry kept the Warriors lead at 19, 75-56, five minutes left in the third, but the Spurs finally got their offense clicking, reeling off eight for an 11-point difference, 75-64.
Danny Green and Gary Neal both nailed outside shots to further cut their difference down to seven, 77-70, but Thompson was on point again, resurrecting his side's double-digit lead with a buzzer-beating triple right before the end of the third, 83-72.
Golden State kept their double-digit lead intact with a pair of Harrison Barnes free throws, 88-78, 7:49 left in the game, but back-to-back makes from Tim Duncan and Tony Parker made it a six-point affair, still seven minutes to play. In response, rookie Draymond Green nailed a huge three-pointer, and two makes from Jarret Jack kept the veteran Spurs at bay, 95-86.
Manu Ginobili conjured up flashbacks to game one, as his three-pointer got San Antonio close anew, 95-89, still 4:23 left. However, the home team went on to miss their next six attempts, including two lay-ups, as they went through a crippling four-minute drought.
In that span, Stephen Curry proved clutch, scoring twice to restore their 10-point lead, and then sealing things with a free throw with 51.8 seconds left. That led to the Spurs subbing out their starters, with reserve Cory Joseph breaking the Spurs' silence to arrive at the final score.
Thompson led all scorers with a spectacular shooting effort - 34 points on 13-of-26 shooting, 8-of-9 from downtown, in addition to 14 rebounds, three steals, a block, and tough defense. Stephen Curry scored 22 on 20 field goal attempts, and dished out four assists, and rookie Harrison Barnes added 13 markers.
The Spurs drew 23 points and nine rebounds from Tim Duncan, while Tony Parker accounted for 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Game one hero Manu Ginobili added 12 points.
Golden State's defense held the Spurs to 39.3 percent shooting, including 23.8 percent from downtown. Despite the return of Tiago Splitter to the San Antonio line-up, the Warriors still out-rebounded their foes, 50-48, though the Spurs got a 20-12 advantage in second-chance points, 19-10 in fast break points. - AMD, GMA News
