Los Angeles Lakers players dominated the second annual NBA Social Media Awards, as Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard all came away with titles, the league announced Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time).

Bryant, who also had a strong showing in the first edition of the event, nabbed the 140 award for Best Tweet ("Amnesty THAT") and was named Social MVP despite having just joined Twitter this season.

Teammate Dwight Howard got the Snap Shot Award for his mock fight photo with Bryant, while fellow big man Pau Gasol earned the Social Difference Award for his "off court citizenship and humanitarianism."

Other highlights of the event include the Heat versus Celtics game last March 18 winning the "Epic Award" for best game, Los Angeles Clipper DeAndre Jordan snagging the "Social Slam Award" for best dunk of the season, Milwaukee Buck Monta Ellis picking up the "FTW Award" for best game-winner, and Oklahoma City Thunder Russell Westbrook earning the "Trendsetter Award" for best fashion sense.

Last year, the Lakers were dubbed Social MVT (Most Valuable Team), while Bryant got the Trendsetter Award (most mentioned player on Twitter) and the Thumbs Up Award (most likes on Facebook).  - AMD, GMA News
