The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings and the Meralco Bolts continued to retool their lineups as they exchanged bigs in a trade approved by the PBA, Tuesday. The deal was announced via the league's official Twitter accout @pbaconnect.

Kerby Raymundo will now re-join head coach Ryan Gregorio in an attempt to relive the success they had together with the Purefoods franchise. In exchange, Barangay Ginebra got Jay-R Reyes, who will most likely be their back-up center as they are poised to take Greg Slaughter with the first pick overall in the 2013 PBA Draft.

In the ongoing Governors' Cup, Reyes averaged 2.92 points and 4.77 rebounds in 13 games played. As he was returning from an injury, Raymundo only played three games in the conference. He failed to score in all three outings and grabbed a total of six rebounds in very limited minutes.

The Bolts continued to secure veterans for their line-up as they recently acquired high-scoring guard Gary David from GlobalPort Batang Pier, although they had to trade away poing guard Chris Ross in the process. - CLP, GMA News
