Green's injury, which came in the first half of San Antonio's 104-86 home victory over Minnesota on Sunday (Monday, PHL time), is the latest in a series of mishaps over the past 10 days for the Western Conference leaders.
The Spurs are without Brazilian center Tiago Splitter for another two to four weeks after he suffered a right shoulder injury earlier this month and have been playing without Argentine guard Manu Ginobili the past two games due to a tight left hamstring.
Despite the setbacks, the Spurs are 29-8 and on a four-game win streak. San Antonio owns the second-best record in the NBA after Indiana (29-7) and leads Houston by 5 1/2 games in the Southwest division.
Green, 26, has averaged 7.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 37 games, 28 as a starter, for the Spurs this season. - AFP
