PBA: Import swap already in the making for San Mig Beermen - reports
They have yet to play a game in the 2014 Commissioner's Cup, but reports have the San Miguel Beermen, formerly the Petron Blaze Boosters, already bringing in a new import to replace former NBA first round pick Josh Boone.
D-League Canton forward Kevin Jones departs today to sign with San Miguel Beermen in Philippines for rest of season, source tells RealGM.

RealGM.com's Shams Charania tweeted that NBA D-Leaguer Kevin Jones of the Canton Charge will be the new Beermen import, with Jones earlier tweeting out that he was on a flight to Manila.
It was not immediately clear when the Beermen will switch their import. The team begins their conference campaign Friday night, at 5:45pm, against the Meralco Bolts. Jones' latest tweet had him in Dallas two hours before the posting of this article. SMB may opt to use Boone just for this game, or go import-less.
It is also possible that the team will keep Jones around as a reserve import, switching him in only if Boone really does not impress.
The 24-year-old Jones stands 6'8" and spent four seasons at West Virginia University. He went undrafted in 2012, but was a training camp invitee by the Cleveland Cavaliers, appearing in two Summer League games with the team. After joining their D-League affiliate Canton Charge, he would bounce up and down between the two clubs, but he was another early offseason cut by the Cavs in 2013.
Playing exclusively with the Charge this past season, Jones has averages of 16.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists, while shooting 50.5 percent from the field in 30.5 minutes per game.
Jones' strong play led to him being named to the Futures All-Star team, for the 2014 NBA-DL All-Star Game. - AMD, GMA News
