FIBA releases full schedule for 2014 World Cup in Spain

FIBA released the full schedule for the group stage of the 2014 FIBA World Cup, set for Spain, beginning late in August.

Gilas Pilipinas will open their campaign on Saturday, August 30, against Croatia at 12:30pm, Spain time, in the region of Sevilla.

On August 31, they play Greece at 8pm, followed by Argentina on September 1st, at 5:30pm. September 2 is the group's rest day, before the Philippines rounds outs its schedule versus Puerto Rico (1:30pm, September 3) and Senegal (2pm, September 4).

The knockout stage begins on September 6, with the Final scheduled for September 14. - AMD, GMA News
