In exchange, the team conveyed Nico Salva and Bonbon Custodio to Barako, while also getting a 2015 second round pick back.
The two teams are currently at the bottom of the team standings. Barako is in last place with a 1-5 record, while GlobalPort is in a tie with the Meralco Bolts at 1-4.
Buenafe’s minutes have seen a slight uptick under new head coach Siot Tanquingcen. In four games, he’s averaged 17.5 minutes of action, producing 6.25 points, 1.75 rebounds and 1.00 assists. He’s also shooting 41.7 percent from downtown.
Custodio and Salva on the other hand have been on the fringe ends of GlobalPort coach Pido Jarencio’s rotation, with neither player having logged more than eight minutes of action in a game this conference.
On Tuesday night, the Batang Pier brought in Yancy De Ocampo and Val Acuna, after dealing Yousef Taha and Ronnie Matias. - AMD, GMA News
