Priciest Patron tickets for Gilas friendly vs Blake Griffin and co. set at P23.3k

Want an up close and personal look at the Gilas Pilipinas national team against Blake Griffin and Paul Pierce? Then be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

 

Seat sales opened on Monday for the friendly matches between the Philippines and a selection of NBA players led by Griffin and Pierce, with ticket vendor TicketNet pegging Patron A tickets at P23,300.

 

According to the TicketNet website, Patron B tickets will go for P20,970, Patron C for P17,475, Box Premium for P9,500, and Box Regular for P8,000 for the two-game series on July 22 and 23 at SMART-Araneta Coliseum.

 

Upper Box Premium tickets are priced at P4,000, Upper Box Regular at P2,500, and General Admission tickets at P750.

 

Curiously, the TicketNet website does not contain listings for premium courtside seats, which usually command twice the price of top patron tickets.

 

The match will serve as the final look for Filipino fans at Gilas before the team flies to Spain for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

 

Aside from Griffin and Pierce, the foreign selection will also include All-Stars Damian Lillard and DeMar De Rozan. Former NBA coach John Lucas will call the shots for the visiting team.
