Talk 'N Text reacquires Jay Washington, gets Gilas cadet Matt Rosser in 3-team deal

Gilas Pilipinas reserve Jay Washington is returning to Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters after the PBA approved a three-team trade approved on Tuesday.

The Texters also acquired Gilas cadet Matt Rosser Ganuelas, a promising rookie who was the No. 4 pick in the PBA draft by the NLEX Road Warriors.

Washington played for Talk N' Text in his first three seasons in the league before moving to San Miguel Beer and GlobalPort.

In exchange for Washington, GlobalPort got Noy Baclao, Harold Arboleda, and TNT's 2018 second round draft pick.

The Batang Pier then traded Arboleda and its 2016 and 2018 second round draft pick for NLEX's Ganuelas, whom it exchanged for TNT's 2017 first round pick.

Baclao figures to be a key addition to GlobalPort's defense.

NLEX, meanwhile, has a chance to build up for the future with the 2016 and 2018 draft picks along with University of Perpetual Help forward Arboleda.

Trade Summary:

Talk 'N Text gets: Jay Washington (from GlobalPort), Matt Rosser (from NLEX)
GlobalPort gets: Noy Baclao (from Talk 'N Text), 2017 first round pick (from Talk 'N Text), 2018 second round pick (from Talk 'N Text)
NLEX gets: Harold Arboleda (from Talk 'N Text), 2016 and 2018 second round picks (from GlobalPort)
