Kobe Paras receives offer from UCLA Bruins in US NCAA

Kobe Paras, the son of two-time PBA Most Valuable Player Benjie Paras, received a scholarship offer from top US NCAA program University of California Los Angeles.

 

The offer to Paras, who is currently attending LA Cathedral, was reported by the Los Angeles Times.

 

UCLA is a one of the top basketball programs in the NCAA, with 11 basketball championship titles under its belt.

 

The 6-foot-6 Paras has also reportedly attracted offers from Arizona State University and California State University Fresno.

 

Paras used to play for La Salle Greenhills before moving Stateside to pursue his basketball career there. He also represented the Batang Gilas Pilipinas national team that placed fifth in the FIBA Asia U-18 Championship last August. — JST, GMA News
