Kobe Paras had his best performance yet for Los Angeles' Cathedral High School to take the Phantoms to the finals of San Francisco Invitational, exploding for 30 points in their 77-67 victory over Alemany.

In a video by the Los Angeles Times, the 6-foot-6 son of PBA legend Benjie Paras performed two signature dunks with the some chants of "MVP!" in the background.

"I'm feeling more comfortable because first game I just did pretty bad so I just practiced a lot and I listened to coach on what he wanted me to do so everything got better then," Paras told LA Times after the game.

The Phantoms then went on to win the championship against Chaminade HS Eagles on Tuesday behind a buzzer-beating trey by Milan Acquaah, with the UCLA-bound Paras contributing 11 points despite dealing with foul trouble. — Marisse Panaligan/JST, GMA News
