CAGER LAMENTS EGG MEALS, BOORISH CROWD
Pingris on Chinese hosts: They should’ve treated Filipinos well
Gilas Pilipinas forward Marc Pingris on Monday lamented the lousy treatment members of the Philippine national team received from the hosts of the FIBA Asia even off the court.
Pingris, one of the teams veterans, couldn't help but compare how well the Filipinos treated the Chinese and the other country's national teams when the Philippines played host in 2013.

Pingris was interviewed over radio dzBB a few hours after the team's arrival at the NAIA from China.

Pingris indicated that the meals in China also left much to be desired, a far cry from what he called good food served in Manila two years ago.
He said their meals in China mostly consisted of eggs.
Ibinunyag ni Marc Pingris sa @dzbb ang umanoy "unfair" na trato sa kanila sa China; Omelet at itlog lang ang madalas ipakain sa kanila.

He also made reference to the behavior of the Chinese fans when Gilas Pilipinas played the Yi Jinlian-led Chinese squad.
"May mga nambabato. May nangdi-dirty finger. May sumisigaw sa likod namin. Yung dalawang pulis, nanunuod lang. Natatawa," Pingris said.
Pingris also recounted how the team bus that was supposed to take them from the hotel to the venue had an empty battery when it was time to go.
He also mentioned how the Filipino's pre-game shoot-around was disrupted when the goal's net was removed just as they were about to warm up.
"Bakit nagkataon lahat? Kayo rin mapapaisip din kayo bakit nagkataon yung dalawang yun," Pingris said. —NB, GMA News
