Juno Sauler resigns as De La Salle Green Archers coach

De La Salle University on Tuesday confirmed the resignation of Green Archers men's basketball coach Juno Sauler.

"He filed his resignation today, 24 November 2015," the school said in a statement.

Sauler led the Green Archers to their most recent UAAP men's basketball title in 2013. He also piloted the squad to championships in the 2013 Philippine Collegiate Champions League and the 2014 FilOil Tournament.

But this past season has been a disappointment for Sauler and the Green Archers, with the team failing to make the playoffs of the UAAP.

"The University will form a search committee for a new head coach and will keep the Lasallian community as well as the public informed," La Salle said. —JST, GMA News
