Hotshots acquire Garcia, Brondial, Jensen in 3-team deal
Star made its first move under head coach Jason Webb after acquiring point guard RR Garcia, Rodney Brondial, and Keith Jensen in a three-team deal with Phoenix and GlobalPort.
The Fuel Masters got guard Jonathan Uyloan, along with rookies Mark Cruz and Norbert Torres in the trade, while the Batang Pier received Youself Taha and Ronald Pascual.
Garcia, Brondial, and Jensen beef up the Hotshots lineup in the guard, wing, and big positions as they look to improve from their quarterfinals exits in the first two conferences.
The deal was approved by Commissioner Chito Narvasa on Wednesday, according to the PBA website.
In a separate deal, GlobalPort also acquired the sweet-shooting Karl Dehesa in a three-team trade with Mahindra and Blackwater.
The Enforcers received Paolo Taha and Keith Agovida, while the Elite landed the services of rookie guard Roi Sumang.
Phoenix, meanwhile, also made a move after getting the services of Simon Enciso and Mark Borboran from NLEX.
The Road Warriors got Mac Baracael, Emman Monfort, and the Fuel Masters' best 2018 first round pick in the deal. — APG, GMA News
