Kobe Paras joining US NCAA's Creighton Bluejays

After withdrawing from University of California Los Angeles earlier this month, Kobe Paras has landed in a Bluejays' nest.

The teen phenom will be joining the Creighton University men's basketball team in Omaha, Nebraska.

He announced his decision in a tweet on Monday.

Creighton is coached by Greg McDermott, the father of Chicago Bulls forward Doug McDermott, who also starred for the squad.

Joining the Bluejays figures to give Paras much-needed exposure as they compete in the Big East Conference.

Other notable Creighton alumni include former NBA player and coach Paul Silas, retired NBA center Benoit Benjamin, and Atlanta Hawks wingman Kyle Korver. —JST, GMA News
