Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion protests EJKs at halftime

The Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion took halftime of the Blue Eagles' matchup against the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons to make a stand.

During its performance, the group wore black shirts instead of their usual blue and white get-up.

They held up placards that read: "Stop the EJKs. Uphold human rights."

The Ateneo move comes a day after the House of Representatives voted to slash the budget of the Commission of Human Rights for 2018 to a mere P1,000. —JST, GMA News
