The Blackwater Elite leaned on their balanced scoring when they defeated the Phoenix Fuelmasters, 83-78 on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Elite pulled points from all around, as Mike Digregorio, Mac Belo, and Raymar Jose all had 14 points each as starters. They also combined for 10 rebounds and six assists, while Poy Erram rounded up the starters in double figures with 12.

Phoenix scored just one point in the final 1:46 in the game.

Rookie Jason Perkins led the slew of Fuelmasters in double figures with 17 and six boards off a high 72 percent shooting clip.

Veterans RJ Jazul and Jeff Chan added 13 apiece, while Doug Kramer and Gelo Alolino chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Elite shot a better 44 percent from the field while allowing Phoenix a mere 37 percent shooting clip.
