The FEU Tamaraws became the first-ever men's division champions of the UAAP 3x3 tournament after defeating the UE Red Warriors, 21-13, on Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Wendel Comboy and Richard Escoto led the Tams with a combined 16 points, with the latter connecting on a crucial putback at the 2:04 mark to secure the win.

Also part of the squad for FEU were Ken Tuffin and Michael John Casiño. The Morayta-based squad established a 10-3 lead, enough to set the tone and take the victory.

The Red Warriors fielded Alvin Pasaol, Philip Manalang, Mark Maloles and Jason Varilla.

In the women’s division, the National University Lady Bulldogs defeated the Adamson University Lady Falcons, 15-6, to win the championship.
