UAAP: Paraiso announces transfer to UST
Brent Paraiso is transferring to the UST Growling Tigers.
“After 15 loyal years of being in Green & White, our ultimate coach prepared a sudden master game plan -HE healed my heart to leave the pain behind and move forward,” tweeted Paraiso on Sunday. “God is leading me to Espana from where I will pick myself up & stand proud. From here on out, I am ready to ROAR!”

The second-year guard came from the De La Salle-Zobel program along with Aljun Melecio.
In February, DLSU announced that Paraiso, along with Ricci and Prince Rivero, were going on leave to “fulfill their contractual obligations.” This came after the University implemented a policy that prohibits its players from entering sponsorship agreements with commercial entities.
Reports of Paraiso transferring to UST came earlier this month, after another UST player, Jordan Sta. Ana, shared an Instagram story showing Paraiso and Ricci Rivero in a locker room with other supposed Growling Tigers.
Paraiso played sparingly in Season 80, logging in under 10 minutes in 10 game, norming 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds. — BM, GMA News
