San Miguel trades Standhardinger to Northport for Tautuaa

San Miguel Beer and Northport have exchanged star big men Christian Standhardinger and Moala Tautuaa.

The PBA announced the blockbuster trade on Monday involving two former top overall picks as the teams enter the homestretch of the Governors' Cup eliminations.

Standhardinger joined San Miguel after being drafted first in 2017. Tautuaa, meanwhile, has been having a banner season for Northport after joining the Batang Pier in the Terrence Romeo trade last season.

The Beermen are hoping to complete a rare Grand Slam this year after winning the Philippine Cup and the Commissioner's Cup. —JST, GMA News
