Filipina cyclist Avegail Rombaon captured bronze in the 30th Southeast Asian Games women's cross country mountain bike in Laurel, Batangas Sunday.

Vietnam went for 1-2 finish in the event with Thi Nhu Quynh and Thi Thom Ca snatching gold and silver, respectively.

Earlier in the day, John "Rambo" Chicano and Kim Remolino finished first and second, respectively in men's triathlon.

Kim Mangrobang and Kim Kilgroe also did a 1-2 finish in women's triathlon.
