Barangay Ginebra clinches Governors' Cup championship

Barangay Ginebra finished off Meralco in five games to claim the championship in the PBA Governors' Cup on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Japeth Aguilar was hailed at the Finals Most Valuable Player, scoring 25 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks to pace the Gin Kings in the series-clinching 105-93 victory.

This is Ginebra's third Governors' Cup title in four years, beating the Bolts in the finals 2016 and 2017.
