LeBron James named 2020 NBA Finals MVP

LeBron James was named Most Valuable Player of the 2020 NBA Finals after leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the championship.

James finished with a triple-double of 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Lakers' clinching 106-93 win in Game Six on Sunday (Monday morning Manila time).

It is James' fourth Finals MVP trophy after winning his fourth title. He previously won two titles with Miami and one with Cleveland before signing with the Los Angeles squad in 2018, winning Finals MVP each time.

He became the first player to win three different Finals MVPs. Only Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has more, with six Finals MVP wins over six championships. —JST, GMA News
