Magnolia trounces Blackwater to finish strong in elimination round

Magnolia took care of business in its final game of the elimination round after trouncing Blackwater, 95-80, at PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday.

Five Hotshots scored in double figures starting with Ian Sangalang, who finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

KG Canaleta led the Elite with 14 points, whilel Don Trollano added 13.

With the win, Magnolia ended the eliminations with a 7-4 card. The team awaits the result of the game between Phoenix and Rain or Shine to determine its final seeding in the playoffs.

Blackwater, meanwhile, was already out of contention and bowed out of the conference with a 2-9 card.
