Is Greg Slaughter back for Barangay Ginebra? 'He is signed,' says Tim Cone

Greg Slaughter seems to be back with Barangay Ginebra, at least according to a tweet by head coach Tim Cone.

On a Twitter, Wednesday, a fan tagged Cone and asked details about Ginebra's future, including the return of Slaughter.

"No answers yet, except that Greg is signed," replied the coach.

Several reports have also confirmed that Slaughter has re-signed with Ginebra. The big man expressed his wish to return to the team before the new year.

Slaughter took a break from basketball as his contract expired February last year.

During his sabbatical, Slaughter signed with a sports agency handling European talents such as Nikola Jokic and got married to longtime girlfriend Schinina Juban.

Ginebra, meanwhile, bagged the 2020 Philippine Cup title as the PBA resumed its season in a bubble setup in in Clark, Pampanga.

After winning the championship, Cone admitted that he wants to have Slaughter back in Ginebra as they chase more titles.
