Barangay Ginebra picks up Ayaay; TNT signs Glenn Khobuntin
Players are on the move in the Philippine Basketball Association a few weeks before the rookie draft.
Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone tweeted on Monday that MJ Ayaay is now with the Gin Kings.
The former Lyceum of the Philippines University guard, who played for the Alaska Aces in the Philippine Cup last year, listed 2.64 points and 2.27 rebounds per game.
"We welcome newly signed MJ Ayaay to the Ginebra Family! We're looking forward to pairing him with Scottie in the backcourt," Cone said.

Ayaay is the ninth overall pick of the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft. He is the second signing Ginebra announced recently, with big man Greg Slaughter also re-signing with the team.
TNT Tropang Giga also confirmed that they acquired the services of free agent Glenn Khobuntin.
"Glenn Khobuntin is a great 2-way player. He can play tough defense and generate good offense," TNT team manager Gabby Cui said in a message to GMA News Online.
The former Terrafirma forward posted 7.80 points and 2.40 rebounds during the Dyip's stint in the PBA bubble.
Rain or Shine, meanwhile, parted ways with Ryan Araña and Kris Rosales.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the Elasto Painters thanked Araña and Rosales for their services.
Reports said Rain or Shine did not renew the contracts of Araña and Rosales.
Araña contributed 3.0 points and 1.67 rebounds per outing in the six games he played during the elimination round of the PBA bubble. Rosales listed 5.45 markers and 3.91 boards prior to the playoffs.
