Jack Animam adds another title to her tally as Shih Hsin U claims UBA title

Jack Animam added another title to her record as Shih Hsin University (SHU) in Taiwan claimed the University Basketball Association (UBA) title on Sunday.

Animam, currently studying at SHU as a foreign student-athlete, scored 18 points in her team's 70-51 victory against National Taiwan Normal University in the UBA Finals.

Animam was also bestowed one of UBA's individual awards for the season after leading the women's category of the league in rebounds with 12.3 rebounds per game. Her teammate, Lin Die, won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) plum.

Prior to her Taiwan stint, Animam helped the Gilas Pilipinas Women bag the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medals for 5x5 and 3x3 basketball.

She was also a part of National University's 96-0 streak in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, where she was also an MVP.
