Kiefer Ravena makes history, joins Jumpman family

Just late last year, Kiefer Ravena was among the lucky ones who scored a pair of rare Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Manila’ after the NLEX guard trooped to then-soon-to-open Jordan Store Manila.

Today, though, the Phenom is taking it up a notch.

The second-generation baller took to Instagram to announce that he has just emerged as the first-ever Filipino athlete to ink a deal with famed Jordan Brand.

“I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family,” posted the 27-year-old court general on Tuesday morning.

“I’m very fortunate to have a great support system.”

With the deal, Ravena is making history.

The Ateneo product will join a star-studded Jordan Brand family that features big names like Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns’ Chris Paul, among others.

“Thank you @jumpman23, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be the first Filipino joining the Jumpman Family.”

In a separate post, the Jumpman family also gave the Pinoy athlete a warm welcome.
