Dwight Ramos clears protocols, tipped to make Japan B. League debut on Saturday
Dwight Ramos is finally making his professional debut this weekend after clearing health and safety protocols, paving the way for him to suit up for Toyama Grouses in the Japan B. League.
The team announced the development on Thursday, saying the Gilas Pilipinas standout joined the squad's practice on Wednesday after completing a 14-day quarantine.
"I'm finally out of the quarantine. I'm really excited to join the team, practice with them and meet everybody for the first time," said Ramos in a short video.
"I'm really excited for the game this weekend and hopefully everybody can come out and support us this weekend."

Ramos' first assignment will be against a team that also features a Filipino cager in Ray Parks Jr. as Toyama squares off with the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins on Saturday, October 16, at 5:05 p.m.
Toyama has yet to win a single game in four outings and is currently sitting last in the standings.
