Calvin Abueva still on top of PBA BPC race at end of Philippine Cup semis

Calvin Abueva is still the frontrunner for the Best Player of the Conference plum at the end of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

The Magnolia Hotshots star tallied 34.2 statistical points on averages of 15.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.1 block in 19 games.

NorthPort Batang Pier's Robert Bolick is in second with 33.7 SPs, but his team made an early exit in the playoffs.

Also in contention is Abueva's teammate Ian Sangalang who listed 33.0 SPs on 16.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

TNT Tropang Giga rookie Mikey Williams slid to number four and garnered 32.0 SPs on averages of 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 18 games.

Six-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo also made it to the top five with 31.8 SPs on 13.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.

Aside from statistical points, votes from the PBA office, media, and players determine the Best Player of the Conference awardee.
