Kiefer Ravena celebrates 28th birthday with Shiga Lakestars

Kiefer Ravena is having a blast in Japan.

On Wednesday, his Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League) team Shiga Lakestars surprised Ravena with a small celebration for his 28th birthday.

In a Twitter video, the Lakestars showed Ravena receiving flowers and cake from his teammates in Japan.

"The team celebrated Ravena's birthday after a shootaround in the morning," a translation of the caption read.

The Filipino import then thanked his teammates for the gesture.

Ravena capped his day with a game, but his Lakestars fell to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 91-74.

Despite the loss, Ravena said he is "blessed to have another year."

"Appreciate all the support here and back home! I miss you guys," Ravena wrote, tagging his loved ones.
