Ray Parks, Nagoya Dolphins demolish Thirdy Ravena, San-En Neophoenix


Ray Parks Jr. and the Nagoya Dolphins demolished Thirdy Ravena's San-En Neophoenix, 98-70, Wednesday in the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League).

The Dolphins pounded on the Neophoenix early in the game, producing 25 at the end of the first period and limited the San-En to just 12 points. Nagoya's dominant run went on to hold the advantage at the end of the first half, 47-26.

The rampage continued in the second half, with the Dolphins leading by as many as 32 points, 96-64, with less than two minutes in the game to eventually seal the deal.

Parks registered 12 points and two rebounds for the Nagoya victory, while Ravena topped San-En with 14 markers.

Scott Esaton led Nagoya with 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, while Coty Clarke and Tenji Harimoto added 16 points each. 

Elias Harris joined Ravena in leading San-En with his own 14 markers and eight boards, while Robert Carter made a double-double 10 points and 11 rebounds.

With the win, Nagoya is now at the middle of the standings with a 5-4 card, while San-En slipped to 3-6.

Nagoya will play the Gunma Crane Thunders, while San-En will go against the Sun Rockers Shibuya, both on November 6.
